Own a Small Piece of Music History By
This is a genuine one-of-a-kind amp. It is a 1972 Marshall Plexi Lead 100, modified personally by John Suhr with an OD3+SE (Super Lead) modification. This is the rock sound you have heard in your head and on records for the last thirty years.
This amp was sold to us by Grammy Award-Winning guitar player Brent Paschke (Pharrell Williams). The amp spent many years in Lon Cohen Rentals in Los Angeles, CA. It was one of the best pieces of his rental stock and was used by a variety of well-known artists for recording, including (but by no means limited by) Peter Frampton, The Mars Volta, Courtney Love, Weird Al Yaknovic, System of a Down, Sex Pistols, Weezer, Florida Georgia Line, Edgar Winter. The amp has been gone over by amp-builder Bob Dickson, as well. A full list of artists who used this amp is available upon request. Lon has sweared that this amp has been used by Eddie Van Halen and Jimmy Page as well.
With this amp comes the JCM 800 Lead Cab that has been used with the amp and a Fryette Power Station to be able to control this beast of an amp. It quite literally broke a glass door in our store, so this is a must to be able to fully enjoy the amp at volumes that aren’t glass shattering.
This amp plays and works. The sale of this amp is final, and as is.
