For your consideration today is a pretty cool Univox Coily that was made in Japan in the late 60's or early 70's . Now this has issues galore so....

First off the pickups and the knobs have been changed. Knobs appear to be Gibson and the pickups are some type of import. They look like GFS "Retrotrons" and they actually sound quite good. The guitar plays but could use the neck shimmed for better playability. Since the scarf joint at the heel looks a little dodgy(coming apart so see photos), I am going to let the next owner contend with that. The neck is a 3 piece neck that looks to have been repaired(see photos). Looks to have separated and aquired a crack. The neck is still straight and the frets are in good shape. The body has some very nice figure to it on the front AND the back. Would make a Les Paul proud! This really is a bit of a project so I am selling this one "AS IS" with "NO RETURNS" so please ask all questions before purchase. Weighs in at 6lbs 14 oz on my digital scale. There is no case or gig bag with this but it will be packed to withstand a 400 pound delivery person. Check out the photos and drop me a line if you have any questions.
