This is a very cool and unusual Lefty Warwick Vampyre set-neck 4-string bass.
This is a German-made Warwick, not the Rockbass version (not that there's anything wrong with Rockbass!).
The bass is in perfect working/playing condition but shows some nicks and dings as well as some wear on the pickup covers--it's been played. I replaced the plastic nut with a Just-A-Nut I.
It's surprisingly comfortable to play sitting down or standing up. Despite the wild outline, nothing pokes or digs in anywhere. It's fairly thin front to back and has the strap buttons in the right place, so it hangs well and balances perfectly. The neck has a great profile.
The Vampyre will ship well padded in a beat-up old hardcase with no handle. I've shipped many basses and have plenty of packing materials on hand to pack it right. Anyone in or visiting the Boston area is more then welcome to come try it out.
