Mendini Gold Lacquer Baritone Sax

This is a fantastic baritone saxophone at an affordable price for the baritone saxophone market.  

This saxophone is made by Mendini by Cecilio.  Mendini instruments have an excellent reputation on Amazon and are well-known for being great sounding and durable.

My main instrument is tenor sax and I recently purchased this baritone sax to play in a funk band that was unfortunately very short-lived.  This saxophone is just collecting dust in my closet and deserves to be played often.  It has great tone and intonation.  The keywork is very smooth and it has a range from low A to high F#.  I played a Selmer Mark VI baritone saxophone in college and this saxophone plays just as well as the Mark VI.  The big advantage of this saxophone over a vintage one is that it is in great condition and is built to last.  

It has double arms on the bell keys, which helps them stay where they need to in order to seal correctly.  

I am including a D’addario Rico Metalite M9 jazz saxophone mouthpiece with a Legere 2.25 synthetic reed and a Rovner light ligature and mouthpiece cap.  It also comes with a stock mouthpiece and basic ligature and mouthpiece cap.

This saxophone features a peg which you can use if you are playing in a big band or concert band.  I am also including a couple of different sized neck-straps (depending on how tall you are), so that you can play it in marching band, standing up, or with your saxophone off to your side. 

I am including a Hercules Baritone Saxophone stand, which is also new.
