Ludwig – Dan Peters, Mudhoney, 1963 , 16″, 13″, 20″ Drum Set. White Marine Pearl
Dan Peters of Mudhoney’s vintage 1963 Ludwig Super Classic drum set with 16×16″ Floor Tom, 13×9″ Rack Tom and 20×14″ Bass Drum in White Marine Pearl Finish.
Dan Peter’s played this set with seminal Seattle Grunge rockers Mudhoney, most notably in the band’s “Good Enough” video. Included with the set is the goofy knit cap made of Olympia beer cans that was featured prominently in the video. In addition to being used in the video, Dan Peters played the set on a small number of Mudhoney shows around 1990. According to Doug Peters, “I only used it a few times for shows. But it definitely is the kit I used for the Good Enough video. I know for sure I used it at a Off Ramp gig around 1990. Not sure of the date. But soon after purchasing the kit”.
The set shows some obvious signs of use but remains in excellent condition. Any notable finish flaws can be seen in the photos.
The set and its history were authenticated via social media conversation between Dan Peters and myself. Printed transcript of these conversation are included with the sale. Includes a COA signed by Dan Peters and the seller.
Snare drum, cymbal hardware and cymbals are not included.
