Presenting a rare vintage gem - the 1966 YAMAHA SG3-12. Manufactured only from May 1966 to November 1967, this 12-string version of YAMAHA's first electric guitar, the SG3, features innovative design elements that make it a legendary model. The SG3-12 comes with an original tremolo unit, neck joint system, and unique pickups, delivering a distinct and versatile tone.

The bridge pickup appears to be a humbucker but is actually composed of two single coils, producing an aggressive tone. The guitar also includes a 60s era preset tone circuit for creating diverse sounds. This particular model is exceptionally rare, making it a must-have for any vintage guitar collector.

The neck set plate features the tuning fork mark and the Yamaha motorcycle logo. While the pickguard appears to have been replaced, most parts are believed to be original. This guitar includes the original warranty card, albeit with a serial number from a different unit.
