If you clicked on this you already know the importance of a buffer and how it can conquer the many problems that try to rob your signal. There are multiple blogs and forums that explain where and why a buffer is best used. Experimenting with your particular setup is the best thing I can recommend. This buffer is enclosed in a 1590A enclosure (3.64"x1.52"x1.06") and requires external "Boss Style" negative tip power. It is different from many buffers because it does have a footswitch. I do not recommend turning your buffer on an off while you are playing, they do have an audible click (which is why they usually don't have footswitches). But I believe in having the choice as to whether it is on or off without having to remove it from your signal chain, so I install the footswitch. The heart of this buffer is a LM741 op amp. The circuit is built completely by hand (yes that is a pain in the buttocks) and includes enclosed jacks, true bypass footswitch, and a clear blue LED to show when the circuit is active (although your ears will let you know). Quality you cannot find in the mass produced world of mass produced pedals. Hand painted, hand wired, and hand crafted right here in the USA.
