2006 Fender TL-62 Custom Telecaster CIJ Blue w/ Dark Rosewood Fretboard, Texas Special Pickups

Tele fans gather ‘round! We have quite a unique Telecaster to share with you today. This TL-62 was made in the FugiGen factory alongside some of the best MIJ guitars out there. MIJ Fender guitars are right up there with USA-made, in terms of quality, fit and finish, and attention to detail. This particular Tele also has quite a cool style as well. The translucent blue finish is perfectly complemented by the white binding and pickguard, and the open pole neck pickup adds an element of visual interest.

This guitar plays great! The 7.25” radius is vintage-correct, as well as the amber-tinted neck and 1-5/8” nut width. This guitar will achieve all the iconic Telecaster Tones with ease. When run wide open, the bridge pickup gets that aggressive rock and roll tele tone we all know and love, while a little roll back on the tone knob mellows things out for a versatile rhythm sound. The neck pickup is bold and rich sounding, but also achieves that nice trebly snap that is usually lacking on a tele, thanks to the removed pickup cover. Roll the tone knob down for some jazzy warmth. Whether it’s Rock, Blues, Jazz, RnB, Funk, or Soul music, this tele will do it all, in style.

This guitar is in excellent condition. It has only minor dings/dents on the body, a small chip on the back of the body, and no wear on the back of the neck. The pickguard has some very light pick scratches but there’s nothing to detract from playability or feel.

This instrument has been professionally setup with fresh D’Addario 10’s set to play low and smooth. Any fretwear has been addressed, so this guitar will arrive ready to enjoy at home, to bring out to a gig, or to record with in the studio. The fretboard has been conditioned, and the electronics cleaned for noise-free operation. A soft gigbag is included for easy transportation and storage.
