Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome.

You are looking at a older 1950's / 60's era Atlas MS-10C "Leader" microphone floor stand and was the entry level model in the Atlas Corp line up. It had the modern (for it's time) rounded one tier cast iron painted base with dual chrome adjustable risers. The MS-10C was a high quality, rugged build and was sold by Atlas for several decades and is still being sold today though the new ones I believe are made in China. This is the hard to find 1st generation American model.

Pic # 2 is from an old 1950's era Atlas catalog showing this very mic stand and it's basic characteristics. The MS-10C had a classic deco design and was very popular until that preference faded out around the late 1950's. There is no label or clear stamp on the stand so I'm not sure if this is a Brooklyn, NY model or a Parsippany, NJ model?

The MS-10C is appx 9 pounds in weight and had an adjustable height of 35 inches low to 65 inches tall giving you more than enough height to work with.

It does shows some heavier wear but it's still in fair overall condition and will make a great stand for just about any situation or older mic you have. These stands are very tough and made much better than most stands sold today. Priced right due to wear.

The chrome on the upper riser has very lite scratches and corrosion. The lower chrome riser shows heavier and the original Atlas decal is no longer present. The clutch mechanism to lower the top riser works accordingly and in great condition. The cast iron base shows heavier wear as well in the form of paint chips and scuff marks and discoloration. It still has the original black paint though.

The bottom of the base shows lite rust stains. The 3 original felt pads show lite wear.

This stand will accept any screw on mic or mic clip you have.

Overall this stand is an easy 4 + on a scale of 1 - 10. I'm very picky though. Others would probably find it nicer or worse.

Due to recent price increases at the Postal Service I cannot ship this for any less than stated.

As with all my vintage microphones and stands...

I can promise you will be happy with it for the price paid. If not...I have a no hassle return policy. The return shipping will be on you as I believe that's fair but the purchase price would be refunded. Simply return in the same nice condition...period. Check my rating. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS are welcome as well. BUYER MUST PAY WITHIN 24 HOURS or will lose rights to this item, unpaid item report will be filed and will be re-listed. If you don't intend on buying this...do not commit to buy please. Domestic buyer will get priority shipping.

If you have any questions feel free to ask and...thanks for looking.
