2010 Gibson L-7C Bozeman Custom Shop - 1 of 2 in Black - Ren Ferguson Era

I've had this for 7 years and loved every second of it. This is the Bozeman version made under Ren's management of the Custom Shop. I bought it from a collector who said it was one of only 2 in black ever made.

There is a USA Kent Armstrong PAF that was custom mounted to the original pickguard with a recessed tone and volume control. The tone is phenomenal plugged in, but is angelic unplugged, which is how I played in 95% of the time.

She has seen many gigs, and has some love marks to show for it, the worst, in the pictures is a finish ding from a tuner falling on it. There is positively zero structural damage and my tech says that it's a relatively easy fill to be made perfect again.

I'm just not playing gigs where I am not playing a tele, and so this beauty mostly sits dormant until I sentimentally grab it.

It has the original arched hardcase with plush purple interior and some of the original paperwork (QA check, warranty card, setup card).

These Custom Shop L7-C specimens come up for sale very rarely! They are perhaps the last of the great solid wood archtops coming from the Bozeman Custom Shop.
