This is a beautiful, 1 of 4 ever made, steel-stringed parlor guitar hand-crafted by guitar master, Jose Oribe, himself. The condition of this guitar is pristine/brand new, as the guitar never been played. I have acquired guitars like this one, over the years, simply as an investment. I know Mr. Oribe personally, and truly believe that his guitars are up to par with the best names in the world. Many who come in contact with a Jose Oribe Guitar, including several world class guitarists and big name collectors, consider it to be, far and away, their favorite guitar and a true prize in their collections. These instruments are hand-crafted with extreme precision and accuracy, using only the best quality wood (aged over 60 years) and materials; allowing them to produce a deep, rich sound that will fill any room and leave you mesmerized. Description: Back and sides are Cocobolo rosewood. Soundboard is western redcedar. Neck is genuine mahogany with truss rod. Fingerboard is black ebony. Machines are Waverly’s gold engraved. Finish: Body - shellac/nitrocellulose lacquer, Soundboard - French-polished shellac.
