We offer this beautiful hand-made full size violin by Louis Lionel Grand of New Paltz NY  made in 1989. Louis Lionel Grand was a respected maker in the Hudson Vally who started making instruments most likely back in the 1970s.  Although very little is known about him, but by some accounts he was a student of Rene Morel who is arguably one of the best violin restores in the world. Morel worked in world-renowned shops like Wurlitzer and Sacconi.

This Grand violin is in very good playing condition, with no cracks and no significant dents or marks from use.  It is also very physically attractive having been made from highly flamed Maple and straight grained Spruce with a gentle brown varnish.  It plays very comfortably, and was recently set up by the well-known maker R.J. Storm (see his regular columns in Fiddler Magazine).

Comes with a high quality "Heritage" case, also in very good condition.
