At my old shop, we first saw these at a NAMM show in the '90s when Alex Aguilar was still with the company. This and the highly sought after DB 680 preamp were the first two production pieces from the company and my former business partner and I had seen them advertised in Bass Player Magazine. So when we saw them and heard them together in person for the first time, we said, "Sign us up!" It's 400 watts of all tube power and it's epic....it's also heavy and deeper than most other amps. Only made for a few years, then discontinued when they became cost prohibitive to build. Also highly sought after and rather rare. Other than some scuffs on top from being rack mounted, this thing is super clean all over.
