Deering Black Diamond - 1988

A premium resonator banjo with a big, bright, tone, this 1988 Deering Black Diamond has opened up wonderfully through the years. With its bell bronze tonering and maple resonator, it has all the punch and projection you'd expect from a classic bluegrass banjo, along with a touch of woody resonance to add a pleasant quality to even the highest notes on the fretboard. It sports a dark stained maple neck with tight, gorgeous flame and a comfortable rounded profile. In overall excellent condition with minor edgewear on the resonator rim. With a recently replaced head and fresh fretwork from the Dusty Strings expert repair team, this banjo is in optimal playing condition.
