This Les Paul is in great condition for it's age. The tremelo is Gibson branded and was factory installed. I made a point to show the minor flaws in the pics. I want to note the minor crack in the pick guard as well as the nick on the bottom side near the jack plate. I would also like to add that there is some light worming on the back that doesn't show in the photo. When restringing the guitar, I noticed that the string hook for the D string was bent out of shape. I tried to carefully bend it back and failed. I purchased a whole new set of Kahler string hooks. They are all brand new. After replacing the tremolo, the string roller part for the low E was buzzing a bit against the frame. I don't know how to properly fix that, so I installed a piece of a bread tie between the parts after discovering my pick was a solution. It works wonderfully and for ever maybe. You can see what I'm talking about in the tremelo photo. The frets and fretboard are in excellent shape despite how the photo came out with the lighting and will last forever. No wear on the back of the neck proves it. This guitar plays and sounds awesome. Just plug in and play. Nice low action with new and stretched .009-.042 D'Addario strings for easy bends. Original hard shell chainsaw case (logo missing) and nice custom designed, locally made soft buffalo leather strap with brass horseshoe Schaller strap locks included. They come in handy when you don't want to drop a guitar that weighs 9.8 lbs. I'm trying to be as honest as I can about this guitar. I don't need to sell it and will probably regret it when I do. I really just want someone to play this butter stick while we're still here....since I don't. "Rock-On!"
