Very Rare 1930s Kay Kraft Venetian: Nice condition and super cool tone! The Kay Kraft archtops were made in Chicago by Stromberg Voisinet from 1928 through 1937. Similar Kay instruments of the period (tenor guitars, mandolins, mandolas, and mandocellos) share this patented-artsy style. Fantastic old-time blues-slinger – chunky chord machine… exudes Django Reinhardt mojo-vibes.
It's been played, but is in better shape than most 90 year olds!
Features the patented Kay neck adjuster; the large wingnut on the inside - tightens a bolt attached to the neck's heel - if loosed one can adjust the neck angle.
Comes protected in a $500+ Reuer custom case.
