Ok here’s your chance to own a real one of a kind piece of music history. This is the ACTUAL PANTERA TOURING BASS RIG AND CABINET THAT WAS USED BY REX BROWN FROM THE LATE 90’s PANTERA all the way into the down era. This wasn’t the backup head…this wasn’t a storage cabinet. This is the actual MAIN bass head and bass cabinet he used on the live tours and studio. I’ve included a picture from backstage in 2000/2001 showing the main head used w the tape indication for where his tech should plug it in. I got this personally from Rex in 2015 via backstage auctions here in Texas. COMES WITH A SET OF HIS STRINGS THAT HE INCLUDED.

This cabinet is the ONLY ampeg bass cabinet made SPECIFICALLY for Rex Brown to use. It was chrome front lined to match dimes tour rig as you can see from the factory which is a one of a kind feature. It’s heavily used of course and was his main rig for close to a decade or so I would guess. It works great zero issues.. it’s a heavy 200 pound plus beast so local pickup is ideal. I grew up around Arlington where these guys are from and just got lucky to hang w them all and score stuff like this. Never intended to sell it, but I need the cash for other stuff. Two kids and a mortgage..is what it is.
