On consignment we have a 2017 Godin INUK Encore Steel String in Antique Burst with original heavy Godin bag in solid very good condition. Such an unusual, interesting and fun instrument, an oud experience with frets that tunes like a guitar . . . miles of smiles! Made in Canada. Freshly strung with Godin strings with a 12 fret (top of crown to bottom of Low E string) factory action of 2.5mm, tuned to factory guitar tuning EADGBE, electronics checked and working. Ready to go.

Condition-- this came to us from a very large collection virtually unplayed, still with the factory strings on it. We polished the frets and installed a new set of the correct Godin strings, as best as we could, my first time stringing something like this, not my prettiest restring, but the strings are one there and holding tune well. Plays great. No fret or fingerboard wear, no back of neck wear. I had one of the loops on the B course un-loop, so I tied it off like a classical string. Good to go. One of the plastic tabs on the lid of the battery compartment came off (see photo), a little persnickity but still works. Very light signs of use on the back, but a clean instrument overall. Includes original Godin heavy bag.

SPECS FROM THE WEB-- "The Godin Inuk Encore Steel is an electro-acoustic fretted instrument featuring 11 steel strings tuned in unison. Inspired by the Godin MultiOud, the Inuk will allow players to be amplified in loud & live band settings without any feedback. With its playing ease, it makes for an effortless transition for guitarists looking for a unique amplified acoustic sound to add to their collection.

It features custom voiced electronics with an under saddle transducer in the bridge, which is controlled via an onboard preamp for an optimal amplified sound. The preamp also features a built-in tuner, which helps to make this 11-string simple to tune and keep as such via the custom tuning machine heads."
