I'm selling my upright bass, a 3/4 (three quarter) size upright bass, made in Germany. Scherl & Roth seems to be more of a student model instrument these days, but this instrument is high quality. It's fully-carved, with a spruce top, maple back + sides, and gamba corners.
Comes with a German brazilwood bow, a bow case, a soft bass bag, and a bass stand (I can't find it right now, but I'll dig it out soon).
I mostly play cello and electric bass, so this instrument is really only seeing playing time in the studio, so I'd like to find someone that can play it out more.
The bass is appraised for $5,000, and the bow is appraised for $300 by Hammond-Ashley (photo of appraisal included).
I'm asking $5,300 with the extra cases/stand, and will entertain any reasonable offers.
