These Bose 802 Series I’s and the accompanying system controller were found sitting in their original boxes… presumably never opened or played since 1979. All speaker surrounds suffered dry rot and had to be replaced - all drivers and components are 100% original.
These have been played at moderate volume connected to the controller for about 1 hour to verify that all new speaker surrounds were aligned correctly… sounds perfect.
