Hondo S-Style 1/2 Size Guitar - 1990s - Rare - Excellent Player

Picture this: a 90s strat copy that plays surprisingly really nicely, has single pickup mojo, and sports an awesome aged white finish. Now picture the same thing but shrink it down half the size—perfect for traveling, having as a fun tiny guitar with a unique higher timbre, or maybe it can even be your new shtick... the person who plays the 1/2 size guitar, but makes it sound incredible (entirely possible, 'cause this little axe plays GREAT)!

It's all cleaned up, set up, and looking great. Aged real nicely. While cleaning, the original white under some of the hardware became visible and the contrast was stark. It's got its fair share of scratches, dings and a hairline crack in the neck pocket (pictured, and nothing of concern).

The pickup sounds good, very little noise. Apart from just being a cool fun little thing, I wouldn't put it past this thing to be integrated into a studio or a live setup. It's like how people use baritones for fresh textures. This can be used similarly, just in a higher context. It has the vibe of a guitar capoed way high up on the neck, and it sits in your hands/lap like a mandolin, which is cool. Truly feels and sounds really nice.

Really fun and interesting to play a guitar of this scale and register. The higher, brighter timbre makes for a cool contrast to the regular tones we're used to hearing. Tuned to A-D-G-C-E-A. Overall, this thing's rare, it's awesome, and it's ready to be loved and put to use by a creative person out there. Will be professionally packed.
