Just completed:2018 Fender American Special HSS Stratocaster heavy relic. by Guitarwacky Custom Finishes. Guitarwacky finish's are top quality, cutting-edge and proprietary. We use only nitrocellulose lacquer (“nitro”) on our relics.

Applied gold pearl lacquer sub-base followed by green pearl nitro base. On top of the green base is Blakes .015 Soylent Green Hot Rod metal flake. "House of Kolor" Kandy Organic Green and clear top coats. Heavily aged green sparkle with nitro, pigment and flake for that "to hell and back" vibe and character...

Factory Fender rear neck thick waxy urethane stripped then lacquered and aged for that natural smooth non-sweaty hard wood aged feel. Frets dressed and polished, neck edges rolled for vintage comfort and fret board dots aged.  Other than refinishing and aging this guitar is all original except for upgrading the tuners to a brand-new set of aged Fender Road Worn and bushings, Comes with trem arm. American Fender Jazzmaster Heavy Relic Custom Lime Sparkle

The custom finish by Bob at Guitarwacky is beyond belief. The impressive photos taken of this masterpiece still don’t capture the detail. I’m not religious, but DEAR LORD…….this Jazzmaster is GORGEOUS! I haven’t plugged it yet, but I’ll tell you now……based on the superior craftsmanship and detail……..it’s going to sound amazing. I’ll definitely be a Repeat customer.

Amazing quality finish. By far one of the most well done and convincing relic jobs I’ve ever seen. Setup was perfect out of the box and immediately felt like and instrument I’ve been playing for years. I am very impressed by the attention to detail on all of the hardware relicing, and I would say the overall finish is on par or better than some of the custom shop fenders and relic novo’s I’ve played.
