Original vintage SERVICED Klemt Echolette B40 Tube amplifier in gorgeous playing condition, sounds AMAZING! The b40 was originally designed as a PA head, and yes, the Beatles did use these in their Hamburg days! However it excels at guitar, with the same tube compliment and basic layout as the Vox AC30 the band later adopted, save the dual rectifier EZ80 in the klemt, vs the single rec GZ34 in the Vox.

These guys SOUND an awful lot like an AC30 as well, with tons of grit and chime, beautiful, creamy overdrive, and a healthy dose of vintage magic. The Achilles heel of these units is that very few folks know how to service them, so they tend to be noisy and unreliable after all these years, and as amazing as they are, buying one intested from Europe is a bit of a crapshoot. This fine example however, has been fully serviced, recapped, retubed, and re-awesomed, and sounds better than ever, whisper quiet, and problem free. Selectable voltage for US/ Overseas use, and multiple output taps for cabs of varying resistance. I find 6 ohms works great with both 4, and 8 ohm cabs.

Enjoy this little fire breather!
