Martin 000-28 1935 - Sunburst!

This is as rare as it gets. A pre-war, wide neck, dark sunburst, herringbone 000-28! A Martin collector/players dream. Amazingly, the guitar has held up very well after 88 years as there are NO CRACKS! Not in the top, sides, or back. The sunburst finish is completely original. There are no cracks in the heal, headstock or neck. The neck has been been professionally reset and refretted, it plays beautifully, and sounds as it should... unbelievable! The tuners have been replaced with old Grovers, but not the original (correct me if I'm wrong) G-98s? with the flatter, not pointed, edges? The only drawback is the oversized bridge. I did not do the work, it was done years ago, so I don't know why a larger bridge was put on at the time of restoration. Looking inside the bridge plate is original as is all the scalloped bracing. Comes with the original black case.
