The Kurzweil RMB-26 Daughter Board is required to install any of the optional ROM sound expansion blocks into the Kurzweil K2600 keyboard or K2600R rack. This RMB-26 has been tested by North Coast Music and is in perfect working order.
If you wish to install the RM1-26 Orchestral sound block, RM2-26 Contemporary sound block, RM3-26 Stereo Dynamic Piano sound block, RM4-26 Vintage Electric Piano or the RM5-26 General Midi sound block into your K2600 keyboard or rack you need a RMB-26 Daughter Board. Only one RMB-26 Daughter Board is required per K2600 keyboard or rack and each RMB-26 Daughter Board will hold up to 4 ROM blocks.
The RMB-26 is a user installable item.
Note: The RM4-26 Vintage Electric Pianos block and the RM5-26 General MIDI (ROM 5) block fit in the same Daughter Board location. You can have either ROM 4 or ROM 5 installed at this location, but not both at the same time.
