  • no corrosion or rust, save for several points of chrome loss on one latch strike-plate.

• All mechanical/body screws tested and tightened where needed;

• Contact points of keys, levers, posts, etc., have been freshly lubricated;

• Keys, levers, cups, and other plated components (where possible without disassembling the instrument) have been polished; and

• The instrument body has also been lightly cleaned/polished.

Please note: all instruments need sporadic attention or servicing. It is apparent that this clarinet was played as recently as the '90s – a testament to its manufacturers and its caregivers.
