Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome.

You are looking at a unique 1970's era Electro Voice 671A model Cardioid microphone with Low Impedance setting and perfect for singing as well as broadcasting as it was intended. This was based on the similar 672A that had a lower pistol grip. Otherwise both microphones were basically identical. This quality mic comes with a mic clip shown.

You'll see in pic # 2 the 671A model with the basic characteristics.

This 671A has a very nice tone and quite strong too...100% output. The "cardioid" element has excellent uni-directional capabilities as well. A warm smooth tone that's a bit more mid range. Not as heavy on the bass as a Shure SM-58. This mic sounds very similar to the E.V 664 in low impedance. This is a very underrated microphone from the 1970's and on par with any high quality dynamic cardioid mic you can think of even today.

The 671A is a very lite weight microphone and appx 6 1/2 inches long X 2 inches wide at the globe.

As you can see in the pictures provided this mic is in very nice cosmetic condition with virtually no wear. The satin chrome finish is free of dents, fractures, scratches or pitting. The mesh grill looks new with zero deformation, odors or discoloration and a new inner foam liner / pop filter was installed as the original was all but gone helping greatly with sound characteristics.

The on / off switch slides smooth and works without issue. The mic has a small locking mechanism to the side of the switch as well if you want to keep the switch in the permanent on position.

Mic is solid with no loose or missing parts. The XLR connection was cleaned as well as it was quite filthy and will ensure a perfect connection once the cable is attached. She's good to go.

The mic comes with an XLR cable and it's appx 12 feet long. The cable is soft, pliable and free of any physical damage. It's in perfect working order and comes with the standard male 1/4 inch end connector for use with most audio equipment.

There is a nice mic clip as well that grips the mic firmly and looks very good. The joint mechanism has plenty of tension and is adjustable. It will screw onto any mic stand you have.

Mic is an easy 9 cosmetically on a scale of 1 - 10 and sounds absolutely golden.

MICROPHONE STAND SHOWN IS NOT PART OF THIS SALE...FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY.

As with all my other vintage microphones...
