Kahler Bass tremolo (2400 - 4 string) - chrome

Kahler 2400F series four string bass tremolo (aka vibrato). Included in the sale is the tremolo unit, bar, screws, original springs, an unused locking clip and the cardboard routing template/installation instructions. I replaced the original springs with new bass/heavy springs from Whammy Parts when I installed this on a bass. The installation screws, template and locking plate are also from Whammy Parts. The tremolo works perfectly and allows for both subtle vibrato and absurd dive bombs.

The fifth picture is of the plexiglass routing template I made when installing this in my bass, which I will include with the sale. The top hole is for a surface mount including the mounting screw holes. The centerline and scale length position markers are scribed on the plexiglass. The bottom hole is for a recessed mount which is not necessary for most instruments and is somewhat damaged due to an errant router bit. It is a rectangle and if you know how to rout, you know how to make a rectangle. The template isn't as pretty as one made by a laser cutter, but works for routing the hole(s) you need to mount the tremolo. These are not sold by Whammy Parts or Kahler.
