Ramsey FM100B FM STEREO RADIO TRANSMITTER
I bought this new in 2012 to announce races at the race track, so I only used it about 2 or 3 times per year. It came with a tiny antenna, which was useless, so I always used an external antenna. Antennas are available online that are MATCHED for this unit. I never used the mic input; I used an external mixer to mix the mic and music/commercials and plugged it in the to RCA jacks on the rear panel.
With a clear line of sight, the antenna got me about 1/4 mile radius coverage... maybe a little more.
The FM100B is very EASY to use, QUICK set up. (Manual available online.)
Includes 25' 50 ohm coax (not pictured.)
