Mosrite Ventures Bass 2 Pickup Version 1966-67 Black with Hardshell Case by Guitars For Vets

This example is mint, but cannot be listed as such as it has been modified. It's gorgeous.
The dual pickup version was made from 66-69, and this guitar was purchased as a Ventures model when new,
The Ventures endosement deal ended in 67, so that dates this one to 66-67 specifically.
A complete pro repaint, rewire, and re-fret were done in 1986 at Metro in Atlanta Georgia.
The original bridge cover is not included, and the holes were filled during resto.
The headstock has a replacement Mosrite label, but not The Ventures logo.
Neck binding was also replaced during the refret. All expertly done.
The tuners, pickups, bridge, tail, and knobs are original. Original aluminum nut.
The pickups retain their vintage single coil hum, and have plenty of gritty low thump.
Pickups, tuners, and knobs wear the Mosrite logo.
Currently strung with Thomastik-Infeld flat wounds. see pic.
Reciepts included. Current setup is from the original owner on this one owner guitar.
Setup is on the buyer. Basswood body. Maple neck. Rosewood fingerboard.
It served for it's entire life in country and rock-n-roll bands in the Atlanta area.
The owner can no longer play do to his age related physical disability, and generousely donated his beloved ax to
our organisation.
Includes a decent hardshell case, with a bit of old smell in it, and a few scuffs etc from storage and roadwork.
