For sale is an all-original 1983 Fender Precision Bass '62 Vintage Reissue in a rare Fiesta Red Finish, original hard case and chrome covers included. Serial Number: V014233, purchased used in 1986 and brought to us by that owner who played it sparingly over the years. This is a phenomenal example of an early Fullerton, CA vintage reissue that is a favorite among collectors and players alike. This is a heavy-hitting, classic instrument that is approaching the feel of the original in a special way. Huge tone and punchy dynamics with a lightweight feel at only 8 lbs 10 oz. The neck is in good health for its age with working truss rod, some "vintage" relief but nicely playable in every register with minimal fret artifacts for a vintage neck; minimal fretwear. Minor cosmetic wear and tear that does not effect tone or playability (see photo series).
