Electric Banana Stereo Phonograph Early 1970s - Yellow

This record player is wild. Allegedly inspired by the artwork of Andy Warhol around the early 1970s and originally available for the low price of $39.77! Stereo sound from 2 4 inch speakers on either end of the banana with individual volume control for each, the left is also the On knob. There is a lever to adjust the speed from 78, 45, 33, or even 16, plus a tone control knob. The banana was recently serviced by our tech where it was recapped, lubed and repairs made to the groove idler. Full disclosure the sound from the unit is not hi fi quality by any means, it is very much novelty akin to a fisher price unit. But what do you expect from a banana!
