


to my understanding, mid-side processing has something to do with taking overlapping frequencies in a stereo field and splitting them up so you can add effects or use as modulation in unique and interesting ways. in essence you can add reverb, delay, distortion, gain, attenuation etc to a signal without it getting muddy. this creates a much broader sense of stereo sound. the module also has a normal so you can use for stereo or quadraphonic processing.
