Left Handed Hamer Eclipse 1995 Sunburst Lefty - Very Rare!

Up for sale is my prized USA Hamer Eclipse 12 string Left Handed Guitar. From what I’ve learned about this guitar, it was custom built for Dan Ruprecht who was an employee at Hamer and produced in 1995; which was the last year Hamer was still based in IL. I don’t know much about Ruprecht, last I heard, he was working at Rickenbacker. The warranty card lists this as a Model LGEC-12. It shows Dan Ruprecht 1 on the Headstock.

The guitar has Phat Cat Pickups. It originally had two volume controls. I had my electronics guy convert them to Master Volume and Master Tone and it works much better. Included with the guitar is the original factory warranty card and the original bridge volume control pot.

Unlike Rickenbacker and others, the strings are real easy to understand and change as 6 strings are top loaded and the other 6 are through the body. It has a belly cut for added comfort and it is very well balanced, won’t break your back, and won’t headstock dive like some Gibson SG’s. It has some dings & minor finish flaws (see pics). Sounds and plays amazing!! Comes with original hard shell case. I will include a fresh set of PRS strings with the guitar.
