Mousetrap Studios 6-string baritone headless 2022

One-of-a-kind, headless baritone guitar, with a fumed eucalyptus top and a semi-hollow alder body. Primarily conceived for fingerstyle playing, hence the wider than normal string spacing, it can also be played with a pick. The custom made bridge houses the individual piezo pickups. Each string's volume can be adjusted individually, to achieve a balanced and even output through the 1/4" mono output jack. Amplified ideally through a full range system, a typical guitar amplifier or straight into the board/ a DAW, will work just fine.

6 string headless baritone

Standard open strings tuning: G1, D2, A2, D3, F#3, B3

Low G1, and D2 strings, extend a whole step, and two whole steps respectively, beyond the nut

Spring loaded capos, that are easily engaged with one finger, allow the two lowest strings to be tuned to A1, B1, and E2

String spacing (center to center) at bridge: 2.78”

String spacing (center to center) at nut: 1.5”

Neck width at nut: 1.92”

All strings, with the exception of the high B3 string, are bass strings. Due to the length needed and the custom mountings system, guitar strings are not an option. We can can provide custom balanced sets (standard, light, soft)
