Tokai SD50 1985 - Metallic Red

1985 Tokai Super Edition SD50

Everything is in GREAT shape for a nearly 40 year old guitar. There are a few small dents and some surface scratches here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary.

The electronics have been changed out. There is a Seymour Duncan Antiquity for the pickup. These things are EXPENSIVE, and It sounds AMAZING. It is standard spaced, so the poles don’t line up completely, but that doesn’t affect the tone.

The claw and springs in the back look new, and the bridge is in pretty good shape.

It will most likely need to be setup to your specifications, as any used guitar will, but I have it where I like it, and it‘s dreamy.

As you can see, the body is routed for 3 Humbuckers, so you can put pretty much any combination of pickups you can think of in a pickguard and rock.
