Serial #: 011510

Manufactured date: 200311

Introduced in 2003 and discontinued in 2005, the VBM-1 Brian May Special amplifier was designed by Vox to produce a similarly treble-boosted tone to the “Deacy” amp originally built by Queen bassist John Deacon. Brian May’s recognizable guitar tone is due in large part to the process of his guitar signal going through a treble booster then into the “Deacy” amplifier. Built with circuits meant to reproduce the same tone as the “Deacy” amps, the VBM-1, with its simple controls and external speaker option, will allow you to replicate Brian May’s fantastic tone. This model is in GOOD condition, bearing a few dings and missing the “Brian May” emblem on the front panel.
