Vintage Martin 1957 D-18. Confirmed Red Spruce top from Martin and Greig Hutton ( author and researcher) - see second to last image. Balanced, vintage sound with plenty of volume.

• Replacement bone saddle (new)
• Older work which appears to have been done many years ago:
• • new bridge, maple bridge plate overlay patch (see pics)
  • light overspray, reglued pickguard
  • repaired three small side cracks, 4" long back crack
  • repaired crack in neck - about 3 inches long running down neck - fine repair - you dont feel it
  • Neck reset when the bridge was replaced.
• 1.68 inch nut width
• Neck depth at first fret - about .82, 9th fret - about .98 - goes from C to soft V
• String height at 12th - .09 Low E .08 High E
• Not sure if its a refret. Fret height ranges from about .030 - .036 at various points on neck. There is some additional wear in spots.
• Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup with volume and tone dials. Great amplified sound.
• • Note - battery pack is mounted on neck block covering the serial number. I have included a picture of the serial ( last image).
• Strap button on the heel
• Double line Kluson Deluxe tuners. I believe these are from the early 60's so not original.
• I added Antique Acoustic bridge pins. White replacement tuners in case ( never had the originals). Original bridge included in case.
• Just restrung with D'Addario 13-56 NB - Updated video below.
• High end Martin branded 6 latch 500 series Geib case (TKL) - Guitar in the case weighs 18 pound 12 ounces.
