A lovely French mandolin in the style of René Gérôme who worked in Mirecourt, France. It is very possible that this instrument was even built by Gérôme or his apprentices.
Condition: Very good; There was a small crack on the back that has been repaired. The sides and back are laminated with rosewood, but the top is made out of solid spruce. Also, one of the braces on the inside of the instrument has a tiny chunk of missing wood, but i believe it is so small that it wouldn’t affect the sound.
