Muse Receptor 1.0 REV. C works very well. Boots from internal hard drive with no problems. Yes, it still has software & samples on it but I can't guarantee the integrity of the original factory install given that stuff has been added, erased, moved, etc. and I'm the 4th owner of this great unit.

The Muse Receptor is dedicated hardware for running plug-ins that allow you to take your virtual instruments to the stage, rehearsal space, or studio without hauling along your computer. The revision C of the Muse includes an advanced Turion AMD 64 processor with HyperTransport, a faster 400Mhz RAM bus, and a 1-GHz system bus, resulting in up to a 20-percent improvement in performance. The processor also features AMD's PowerNow power management technology for reduced power consumption allowing the system to run cooler and quieter than the previous Receptor versions of hardware.
