Ludwig 22/13/15/6.5x14" VIDEO Classic Maple New Yorker Drum Set w/ Atlas Rail - Light Blue Oyster RARE Pearl

Steve notes: See the video! Here is a lightly used Ludwig Classic Maple drum set in an uncatalogued finish, which is a light blue oyster pearl! This finish was tested but never released. This set was used to display the various Atlas mounting hardware such as the tom holder, cymbal mount etc. These are configured in a New Yorker-style outfit, which includes the New Yorker shallow 12x22 bass drum, an 9x13", a cool 15x15" floor tom, and a matching 6.5x14" snare drum. The shallow bass drum on the New Yorker was conceptualized back in the 50s/60s from the idea of a shallower bass drum being able to fit better into a NYC taxi. In reality, the 12” depth is fantastic on its own merits. It is 2” shallower than the standard 14” depth, so response is really quick but there is no sacrifice to the sound. These drums are in great shape with some light cosmetic wear that would clean right off, mostly located on its chrome hardware. The Ludwig Atlas hardware with an Atlas rail mount and cymbal L-arm are not currently installed on the set, but are included! (They’re bulky and we think the set looks cooler without them).
