60s Leedy Drum Set in Capri Pearl

22, 13, 16, 14 Shelly Manne Snare

The kick and snare are dated September 1962 and are one owner drums. The toms were found separately—the 13” dated November 1962 and the 16” dated January 1966. Because of the nature of this wrap there are some variations in the pattern and color.

These vintage “Slingerleedy” era drums are in excellent shape overall, especially considering their age. They look and sound amazing! The bass has a small section of one hoop inlay missing and some lifting on one of the seams but the wrap is tight otherwise. The snare only has some chrome flaking on the strainer arm. The 13” and 16” have had some really minor edge work on the bottom edges and a few small cracks in the wrap but again, the wrap is otherwise tight and in great shape on both.

The kick has the orginal heads and the snare and toms are fitted with new heads including real calf on the batter sides.
