Retrokits RK-007iD MIDI Nomad - Red

This is another one of my custom builds of the Retro Kits Open Source RK-007. This is another entire redesign from the original RK-007iP that I have offered in the past. I have redesigned the case to be much more rigid from the original open source design. I personally printed the case, designed a full custom circuit board, soldered, programmed and assembled each unit by hand. Manufactured quality. All of the components are attached to a single circuit board, giving the unit a rugged design that is sure to handle the toughest gigging environments.

These little controllers are amazing! Basically a Swiss Army Knife for MIDI control. They operate on either standard MIDI out over the included 1/8” TRS->MIDI Type-A pigtail connector or via Bluetooth as a wireless MIDI device! They are powered by an on-board lithium ion battery that offers hours of use on a single charge. It is charged over the Micro-USB connector jack.

You can select the MIDI channel (1-16), any MIDI note number (1-128) to send, change instrument program patch numbers (1-128) as well as set the dial to control any CC control (1-127). A new encoder dial feature allows you to assign up to 8 stored dial CC functions that can be saved to the device's EEPROM, therefore saved when the unit is powered off and ready for use the next time it is powered on.
