This rare Rickenbacker 610/12 has the classic VP option, including the factory vintage Toaster pick-ups, Trapeze tail piece, etc. It was professionally set up, sounds and plays great.
It's been on stage with Great Wide Open (Tom Petty tribute band) as the go-to 12 string, playing to thousands. While it's the perfect guitar for nailing that true Tom Petty sound, it equally delivers the Rickenbacker jangle that's been heavily relied upon by bands like The Who, Beatles, Byrds, etc.
Examples of the Rick 610/12 VP's are extremely rare, and this one has been maintained in excellent condition. Babied on stage and off, it still shows some light buffing marks in the clear coat as well as the usual string nicks near the tuning pegs, as shown in the photos.
It comes in the original hard shell case, and was just restrung with Pyramid flat-wounds.
