Bought this body a few years back from a seller in Japan and finally accepting that I need to let it go since I just can’t enjoy strats. It’s beautiful body with natural wear that just needs a good home (and neck).
Not sure of the exact model or year, but after some digging I believe it’s an 80s/90s Fernandes RST-40 “The Revival” body. The original seller had photos of the neck which had a pre-lawsuit, Fender shape to it.
Body, pickups, plastic parts, and pickguard are all original. Apparently the trem has a heavier block on it and the saddles were swapped out for Gotoh ones. The pots were upgraded to full-size CTS pots, the switch was upgraded to a switchcraft 5-way, and the wiring was all redone with cloth wires. The input jack was also replaced.
