You too can look like Gilmour but for somewhat less outlay than buying a £10k FCS Gilmour model… I can’t guarantee you’ll sound like him of course ;-)

This guitar is built from a used Fender MIM body dated 2012 which has some light playwear if you tilt it to the light and a couple of bumps that have not broken the lacquer, plus a beautiful, new, vintage tint neck.

It is fitted with Ironstone UK hand wound pickups and the ‘Gilmour Switch’ + bridge blender mod which delivers umpteen pickup combinations - see pics. Note: given the switching options I have set this up so that only one tone control is in circuit.

To finish off it sports a custom single ply scratchplate, a Fender bridge and neck plate, plus the ever-reliable Wilkinson tuners. 

A very cool, one-off guitar with a massive tonal range!

I build these guitars for fun, always trying to use interesting and unique combinations of components. They are set up with Ernie Ball strings and optimised action.
