About This Listing

Here is a very rare and very cool guitar! These were only made for a short time and do not come up for sale often. There is no serial number but the pots date to April 1966 (137-6616). The body is in excellent condition overall with only a few small dings around the edges. There are some cracks in the masonite covering around the edges, but none of it is coming up and the wood underneath is not damaged.

The neck is straight and the frets show only light wear. It's in excellent playing condition and there are no major issues. The fretboard, back of the neck and headstock are clean and have no major dings or worn areas. No cracks, repairs or extra holes. The tuners are kind of stiff but can be cleaned and oiled. The nut is 1.77" wide, the neck measures 0.79" thick at the 1st fret and 0.81" thick at the 12th fret.

The hardware and electronics are original and in excellent working condition. The pickups measure 3.41 Ω (Bridge), 3.54 Ω (Neck) and 3.41 Ω (Sympathetic). The tuners are kind of stiff and are hard to turn, but I will try to clean them before shipping it out.

It comes with the original case which has some general wear on the outside. There is a crack in the wood on the bottom but it has not broken all the way through and the case still holds the guitar as it should. All of the latches, hinges and handle are in excellent working order and the interior has no bad odors.

It comes with a vintage strap, paperwork and other accessories you see in the photos. All of the strings are new and it comes with a new autoharp tuning wrench so you can adjust the sympathetic strings.

Actual weight for the guitar is 7 lbs 14 oz.

Please note that I do not set up my guitars before mailing. I have played it and everything is great as far as I'm concerned, but you may need to change the strings, adjust the action or do other maintenance to get it to your preferences.

I list some of my items on both eBay and Reverb. In the event that this item sells on both marketplaces before I can take the other listing down, I will honor the first sale and refund the second. There will be no exceptions to this!

SHIPPING

$150.00 for UPS Ground. This is only an estimate on the high-end and will probably be less if you are close to the West Coast. I will refund any overcharge if there is any left over beyond the postage and packaging costs. I mail all of my guitars inside guitar boxes and pad with biodegradable peanuts. Local pickup and payment in cash are available, so feel free to contact me if you're local and want to check it out.

TRADES

I am a dealer and am not looking for any more gear for myself. I may not be able to offer much credit on a trade since I'm buying to re-sell. With that said, I will only consider in-person trades due to shipping costs and taxes. Please do not contact me for a trade unless we can meet in person.

OFFERS

I price my guitars as low as possible and don't consider offers, so please do not ask for a lower price!
