Vintage Carvin X-100 100 Watt Guitar Head Tube Amp Amplifier With Footswitch

I'm not always sure how to figure out what things are worth on the secondary market. Sometimes I can get it right, other times it baffles me. Like, why are the Carvin Heads attainable for under $500? This amp is 100 watts of tube power - 6L6 quartet of power tubes. I can't really find a bad sound out of this amp. I just don't have the room for it anymore - so, it needs to go to a good home where it will be appreciated. I especially like the clean/rhythm channel - very warm. But, to be clear you can get a plethora of sounds out of this. I believe Frank Zappa preferred this amp back in the 80's and Steve Vai too. This one comes with an aftermarket footswitch.
