This is a top-quality NAD (New Acoustic Dimension) surround sound receiver that works with CD/DVD players and turntables, satellite HDTV, plus built-in standard AM/FM radio. I am including an NAD Phono pre-amp and high-grade cable that will connect the amplifier to your turntable. It is a powerful amplifier, supplying 100 watts per channel if used in stereo mode, and 80 watts per channel when used in full surround-sound mode.
This equipment is older and was my main hi fidelity system for years. But I found that my listening preference was stereo and I rarely used the surround sound mode. About 8 years ago I re-boxed the equipment, stored it in my office, and bought a standard top-line amplifier for CD and Records. When I was using the NAD, it was kept in a glass-door cabinet and well protected from sunlight and dust.
The NAD is worth researching to find that it produces a clear, open, direct, and accurate representation from the chosen input, with power and control.
