Here for sale we have a Fender Deluxe Player's Stratocaster Electric Guitar in Honey Blonde finish. Made in Mexico in 2007, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Ash body, Maple neck, and a 21-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronized Tremolo, Vintage-Style tuners, a Synthetic Bone nut, and a trio of Vintage Noiseless Single-Coil Strat pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, neck tone, middle tone, a 5-way pickup selector, and a Push/Push bridge-on switch. The satin finish Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Modern 'C' profile allowing for easy fretting in any register and lending itself well to a wide variety of styles. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 12” radius offers a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines. Medium jumbo frets enhance vibrato and string bending techniques whilst also providing a rock-solid and smooth playing experience without sacrificing that conventional Fender feel.The Vintage Noiseless Single-Coil Stratocaster pickups sound true to the Strat tone you know and love, only without the unwanted noise. They are wired to a 5-way blade switch with a master volume and dual tone pots - the first tone pot affecting the neck pickup and the lower tone post affecting the middle pickup. Breaking away from traditional design again we have a switch located between the two tone pots. Light indentations and scuff marks are apparent to the front and rear edges of the tip. These have marked but not removed any of the finish.Neck: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the neck demonstrate light scratching, most notably at the 5th fret of the fingerboard. The treble side edge demonstrates a chip to the finish in line with the 15th fret, with similar but lighter chipping at the 11th and 12th fret ends. These cannot be felt in the playing position.Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The front face demonstrates an indentation to the bass side, in line with the neck pickup, which has marked but not removed any of the finish. The treble side lower bout side demonstrates a small area of discolouration. The pickguard shows mild scratching consistent with playwear.Condition of Frets:The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Very light denting is present to the early register, with light flattening throughout. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Light oxidation is apparent to the fret ends.Current Set Up:Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.Hardware: Fully functional with light to mild tarnishing & fading of the gold. The intonation screw has been replaced on the 6th E saddle.
